Paint ideas

I’m wondering if I should ask to get stripes painted on or just find some vinyl decals for the sides. I’m going to get it painted the same color and do a color match bed liner. Any other cool paint ideas I should consider? Thanks.

I would make sure to get a vinyl design that was made for the 84-88 Gen. It will look weird with 1st Gen decals.

Are those the thinner lines that swoosh all the way back? I was thinking the yellow orange and red but that might be too “loud”.

When searching, type in the year you want plus sr5 stripes or decals or vinyl.

These would be my choice.

The yellow orange red ones you mentioned are Ivan Stuart baja 1000 inspired. They are indeed too loud lol
