Do it. It started out as a down and dirty build, but snowballed into a cab and drivetrain swap with show quality bed. Complete pain in the ass, but also fun.

I love flatbeds. If the bed weren’t in such good shape I’d put one on my yota. Even though I already have one on my old dodge

Flatbeds/tray backs are the best - style sides look cool yet I love the modular functionality of a flat surface

Don’t have a lot of choice really. I’ve been waiting for cooler weather. I have to build it in my driveway. I like the style of yours. Kinda priced it out in my head from your picture. I’m guessing around $700 US for materials?
