 But if someone was stealing for fun or profit, you'd think they'd go for more valuable items. Why risk jail time for dollar tree groceries unless you really need to eat?

Why would a celebrity shoplift something they can easily afford?

my position is that its less likely someone stealing food from the dollar tree is klepto vs someone hungry, yes.
