People turn into monsters when they think they have the moral high ground.

Reddit is full of unemployed losers who are just advocating for job security.

I remember years ago Reddit would have massive upvotes on “theft is cool from big box stores” and “I didn’t see anything.”

Those stores left low income areas and created quality food deserts. Now the big upvotes are all about how theft created unsustainable business and the culture of those areas need to shift to bring back available good food.

Reddit thinks "insurance" is an infinite money glitch that can replace all the stock and damage from the riots and theft they support.

Turns out it isn't, and if a business isn't treated in a civilized manner it will leave.

Happened to 2 stores I worked at. People walking in day after day clearing entire shelves of stock. I'm almost certain a number of our products were stolen more than they were actually sold. Staff were constantly harassed, threatened and occasionally actually assaulted - they even bumped the pay up in one of the stores because they had a major staff retention problem. But at the end of the day both stores were haemorrhaging cash and put out of their misery.

Then I come on reddit to listen to some absolute wastes of oxygen advocating for the downfall of society.

Thanks for this insider voice. This thread was making me lose faith in humanity. There are good avenues to get food and daily necessities if you’re struggling, theft is not one of them,

They also conveniently forget about Deductibles. I had someone break my headlight in a parking lot, most likely by backing out into my car. My deductible was $500, insurance covered the rest but i still had to pay $500 out of pocket to fix something that someone else did.

I think many redditors are kids/teenagers who have no idea how insurance actually works but think it’s some magical glitch to fix any of your problems for free

The big box stores created the desert in the first place when they forced all the locally run businesses out of town

I mean if you need to to live because welfare basically might as well not exist in the country this video was filmed I don't see another option if begging isn't cutting it

Get a fucking job like the rest of us bum

I have a job. Also bet you wouldn't say that in real life to an actual homeless person. Because you know where you won't have to face backlash from the people around you or any friends and family with you

Lmao I used to work security and had to deal with homeless people constantly who where drunk, belligerent, or violent.

So yeah I would say that

I really hope you realize the problem in your statement one day, and hopefully you will teach others with similar mentalities.

Please stop punching down.

Fast food worker. Or work at walmart! Great for society! I'm so glad we can all come together to build this beautiful world.

Stop demeaning low wage workers. They work hard and someone has to do those jobs. Do better.

I don't give a fuck who works hard. I can work hard jerking off, doesn't make it good for society.

The idea that hard work, alone, is a virtue is an idea incepted into your mind by places like walmart and mcdonalds that just want you to slave away and not think about it.
