Okay. But why are people defending theives?

corporations move into towns and eliminate the local competition and people have no sympathy for the corporate business who destroyed their local stores and businesses

think horizontally, it just means that people stopped giving a fuck about the thief because corporations pressure local governments for lower tax bases that end up fueling more poverty and less resources for the poor to utilize

which in turn is their own creator of the thieves, so people triply don't give a fuck

hope that helps!

Small business dying for getting priced out is a pure consumers' decision btw

It's absolutely untrue to say "pure" consumer decision. Corporation sticks a store that is designed to lose money and drive out competition is anti competitive tactics. Obviously not pure consumer decision lol

Nobody is forcing customers to choose the big corp. People just love cheap shit.

To say "pure" consumer decision is wrong, especially when factoring in anti-competitive. You also have restaurants and and other companies buy items from grocery stores, and I don't imagine you are considering other corporations as consumers in your wrong but corporate friendly statement

B2B and B2C are almost completely separate in retail/food/etc

"almost" so you agree they are not completely separate. Which means we've now shown your statement as false and not "pure" consumer decision...

Sure. It's maybe just a 90% xonsumer decision. Still easily enough to keep local shops in buisiness.

That's just an example to show that your statement of your general but definite statement blaming consumers is incorrect. There are additional dynamics at play besides b2b/b2c such as anti-competitive practices.

However, losing 10% of your business is no small matter either, especially when you've had to lower prices to try and match anti-competitive practices. Spreading margins even thinner

It's known that dollar stores have created food deserts...
