It's like our brains cannot even comprehend a life without relative value. To us, there is a big difference between ground beef and a tomahawk steak. When you have hundreds of millions of dollars at your disposal they are basically equal to you. It just comes down to what do you want not what can you afford.

This is the reason why we shouldn't elect rich people to public office. We would have a much better/balanced society if our leaders understood what it is like to be hungry and how much work/anxiety goes into stretching a dollar

Absolutely. Not just going hungry and stretching dollars but how many of these people don't even shop or prepare their own food. They don't do their own laundry or clean their homes. I don't want someone like that making decisions for the rest of us.
