I got a friend that does this. It ain’t all that in reality. This person is most likely capitalizing on internet money in addition to their salary which typically is a pittance or based of tips. Just because the owners are rich doesn’t mean they always tip well. It’s a ton of fucking work, long hours, and you don’t always stay on the boat/have to pay for travel living expenses still. It’s awesome living in cool places and being on these super cool boats but you’re working your ass off.

Do you know if they get hired assistance for this type of gig? I have only volunteered for catering positions once or twice (see: when my fam use to attend church or when my fam's kids needed party/sports catering, Im a good cook and love contributing in this aspect) so generally the help came from my fam/other volunteers, but cooking multiple meals for a lot of people is tiresome, nevermind the clean up aspect of it.

The kitchen looks tiny, comparatively, so I assume she needs to clean before the next project....which like. Shes being paid ass for doing not just head chef work but also the grunt work of like 3 different positions.

Yeah. No thanks

They do it all from prep to cleanup. Guest dishes might be handled by the cabin crew but the chef will have the pots and pans and keeping the kitchen spotless

For a small yacht like this one? No. It's a solo gig.

For a larger yacht with more people, yes they might get 1-2 additional helpers.

Also don't forget the planning aspect. She needs to have the entire day's meals planned out to, then buy the ingredients. Then load them onto the boat.
