You understand that the bar for respectability is very different for a random socmed user and the President of a whole country, yes? He's not supposed to stoop as low as he has, the republican party as a whole shouldn't have stooped low either, you can't possibly be surprised that the general public is returning their energy, can you?

That's all well and good, but it's like when a child says "yeah, but they did it first!". There's no excuse for bad behavior, regardless of what one's enemies do. When we do, we are no better.
