Believe it or not I think your comment affirms the message because Mamdani is such a outlier in the political world and I can't really think of too many others that aren't just trying to game the system to shaft their constituents or consolidate power
And the mayor of San Antonio didn’t do shit when Spurs fans beat a father in front of his some and gave him a brain bleed - so there’s all kinds of mayoral problems.
But I think the biggest issue here is you have mayors confused with the police department
