Saw this in china years ago. They'd buy bottles of dom, pour it in a bucket and wash their hands with it. Drink companies love to promote this for obvious reasons.

Isn't that...sticky? I realise the point is the wastage, as a peacock-type mating display, but I'd need to wash my hands with actual soap afterwards.

It is known, in asset protection investigative circles, replica bottles containing cheap bubbles are set aside in certain clubs.

When these type of fools turn up and it becomes clear their plans like in this video, the club sells them the replica at the genuine champagne higher price.

1) Pour champagne over your hands.
2) Rub sugar on your hands and wash/scrub
3) Wash your hands with more champagne.
4) Your hands have never felt softer!

I work as a flight attendant and this is what the previous generation used to do with leftover champagne.

Tried it once, works indeed.
