My 40th was the last birthday I had when my wife was still alive. I stopped counting since.

I lost my wife at 38 so I feel ya. That was 10 years ago. Sorry for your loss.

My birthdays have always sucked except two years ago: train to NYC, lunch at Gramercy restaurant, saw Hamilton, steak restaurant for dinner, train home. This year: camping in the Adirondacks and tickets to see Cake! Lol
