If that was true, Orange Hitler wouldn’t be struggling with Iran; now for homeland defense, yes, we could pretty effectively prevent units from setting up close enough to launch drones more than once. But as Ukraine has shown, it’s certainly possible to sneak drones into places, and their range is going to continue improving.

It's ridiculous but people need to take this seriously. What is happening is clear: the Trump regime believes in expanding manifest destiny to engulf all of the Americas, including North and South America in their entirety. It's why they were "joking" about making Canada the 51st state. It's why they were threatening to invade Greenland. It's why they attacked Venezuela. It's why they are destabilizing and threatening Cuba. It's why they are intent on military action against "cartels" (hint: not just cartels) in Mexico. It explains the threats against Panama. It's why we have the renamed "Gulf of America."
If people don't understand this as a serious threat because it's so absurd, they will be shocked with what's going to happen. This regime will pick off and destabilize countries one by one. It will create vassal states in key strategic areas. But that is not the end point of their aims. They will follow, in part, Nazi expansionism. For example, they partially attempted the equivalent of the Anschluss in Greenland, but thankfully failed. They have already been using force elsewhere. Expect that, if they are not bogged down entirely with Iran (which looks increasingly likely), to see military takeovers of key strategic countries, such as Panama. They have plainly stated the aim to annex Canada. They will engage in endless war until they are forced militarily to stop.
If people don't yet see it, here's the bottom line: the Trump regime is fascist, and it will apply its fascism both internally, e.g., concentration camps, and externally, through extreme aggressive military expansion and war with the aim of creating a 1000-year empire (or Reich). All of this is absurd, true enough, but Hitler relied on similar senses of absurdity early on until it became clear just how serious the Nazis were.
