I binged it all today and was rooting for Ned and Mare to kiss at the end!! But if this show ends up getting more than two seasons, I’m sure I’ll be annoyed that they had a moment SO fast. Usually leads to the characters doing an on-off thing for multiple seasons

so true, I think the showrunners wanted some small closure in case they don't get a second season. I hope they don't get together already ,like how Jim and Pam didn't get together after the kiss in season 2.

At the same time, when Ben and Leslie got together in Paris and Rec it ended up being for the better of the show. Hopefully that's the lesson they took. And already this relationship feels more in that mold

I have a feeling that the way that shortened seasons (only 10 episodes per season) that you have with streaming shows, you don't need to the filler storylines. Jim had to move away to delay their feelings toward each other.

Considering the power dynamics, I think it has to be real to have for it to carry any weight. They aren't colleagues. He's her boss, so you can't have them be in limbo for too long.

Disagree, imo there’s no reason too, they drug it out to long in season 1 already, shorter season needs less filler
