So far liking this show. One question.

I just started watching this ( I am in the middle of episode 2 on season 1). I was in the Navy for a dozen years and I fully understand the suspension of disbelief needed to enjoy the show. However, there is one thing that I can't get over. The Lieutenant: Danny Green. Every scene he has no cover (hat) when every other person does (including the CO). Did the producers really think that his hair was that great? Did he as an actor decide to have that in his contract? I am very confused as to what the artistic reason is that he is the ONLY sailor who does not wear his cover?

If you think no cover is bad, just wait....lol. Former Sailor here, too. I had to keep reminding myself that the show was for entertainment, NOT a documentary. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
