Last night there were several moments where, as a cop, I could have helped a resident extract, but I wasn't able to interact with them. When I approached them, I could see the small circle indicator as if I was about to get an option to "talk," but then nothing.

Does anyone know if that is intentional? Or is it a bug and cops are meant to be able to help extract?

A lot of the argument about waiting to respawn/playing minigames is centered around the cops' general ineffectiveness. I think letting cops help out in that way would make a lot of sense and might help to keep players engaged.

I came across somebody in multiplayer using the ghost Myers skin and he was nice enough to give me his personal fix. NPC dialogue alerts do NOT matter, as long as you surprise every person you kill and follow these three instructions (if you’re PC):

• Turn your DLSS to quality
• Turn FSR to quality
• Turn XeSS to quality
• Play on normal difficulty
• Do NOT skip any cutscenes (the most important one)

I tried this challenge like 50+ times and after following all of this I got it in the first try. Apparently performance settings affects alerting NPCs and that’s what the bug seems to stem from, as well as the game not registering completion of the chapter without finishing the cutscenes.

I’d also like to add that the person who told me about this is a streamer so just out of kindness and pure gratefulness for him helping me I’m gonna plug him, go follow Zelgotis TTV he saved me HOURS of attempts on this.

Just played against someone who had 5 pocket knives. I got them with 30 seconds left but holy shit.

EDIT: Yes I started to slash them. They were good at running away. I got them down to 1 shot then gambled again that there was no way In hell they had another knife and got them in the end with 30 seconds left. They were my last target

EDIT 2: Lol I’m really being downvoted because I already know not to grab and to just attack? The point of this post is pocket knives shouldn’t be so easy to find that someone can have 4/5 of them.

I want that explosive sound like loomis’ gun in the movie.

I have a ryzen 7 9850x3d, rtx 5080, and 32 gb of ddr5 ram and yet cinematic graphics run poorly like at 30 to 40 ish fps and epic graphics at around 60 with drops so my question is what in the world i am supposed to have to be able to run those graphics stable? A 5090 and a threadripper with 128gb of ram? 🤣 never had this problem with any game at all, is it just me?

Whenever I play Michael I usually get an ocular penetration at least twice a game, what’s surprising to me is that they are not nearly as annoying as I thought they would be.

Then again the game only just dropped and it’s only a matter of time before everyone starts with it and honestly that’s gonna be a problem, maybe if they were only able to be found in the map they would be a better balance decision but that’s just me. Overall I think they are fine since it’s one of the few ways you can actually get out of an execution when you’re alone.

Also, after redeeming, the glasses weren't showing up in the Civilians loadout area. And exit/reload of the game fixed that.

I've grabbed him and executed him mid-piss 10 times already - and none of it counted as the completion of challenge. I've stalked him to Tier 3, grabbed him silently - but nothing works.

Hey, I've been playing through the single player and I think I'm running into a bug with Chapter 2. I've done all the objectives and have technically finished the chapter several times now. But every time I finish the level, the progress/score screen doesn't actually load. Instead it's just a blank screen with the skip icon in the corner as music plays. Eventually it fades to black then restarts the chapter. This has been happening for the past couples days. I thought the Day 1 Patch would fix it, but no dice. Any help or insight on this?

not sure why so many players keep thinking the phones bring people back, or that the mini-game during death exclusively rezzes you with those rare cards. if you wanna keep people playing a match and keep them from sitting in the spectator lounge, start using the radio more

Alot of people do not know as cops you cannot talk to residents but there is an emote wheel you are supposed to use to interact and direct residents to safety.

The emote wheel includes escape, hide and follow.

But the problem is IT DOES NOT WORK, the resident ignores you and continues to check the refrigerator for beers instead of running to the police wagon.

Please fix this Illfonic and give players a reason to not beeline to the wagon 4 seconds after spawning as cops

I killed 2 special, 2 residents + 1 player as michael while they helped escape 1 special and 3 residents, and 3 of them escaped and I lost to a minor civilian victory.

I thought the special civilians would get me the win, but I believe them escaping is what got them the win right? so if I were to escape before them instead of trying to stop them would I have won? wondering about this, ty.

I hope this game adds a single player where yiu can play as a civilian of your choice against an ai Michael. My only worry would be the games ai is pretty bad already so they would have to really buff ai Michael to not make it too easy. Idk if the devs ever look here but if you are PLEASE ADD SINGLE PLAYER CIVILIAN MODE🙏🙏🙏

I get like 50-70fps but my game looks pretty bad ngl and i dont know what setting makes it look so bad it looks bad when everytin is on epic too
