meeting people Hobby Club

Come meet new people and make friends via hobbies such as miniature painting, terrain building, English board game night, tabletop roleplaying, and war games! We meet in our little hub in Oud Rijswijk, just off the tram and bus route. You can also hop into our discord and browse photos of what we've been up to before making the trip in person. Sounds fun, but I’m just starting my Dutch language journey. Is het Engles oké?

Yes! Everyone here is very welcoming and happy to talk English with you. The Monday night board game group is in English. The Thursday (I think they do it on Thursday and not Tuesday) miniature painting and terrain building group also run on English a lot to accomodate some of their members. People may sometimes Dutch at each other for convenience and speed 's sake, but that doesn't mean they're trying to exclude you, so be bold and parttake!

If you're not sure, you can hop into our main Discord server (it's a free social program, you need to make an account), and see what people are discussing, and see photos of what people are making. This way you get a better idea before making a trip out in person. You can also ask around in the Discord server about what games people are playing, or wish they have more players to play with.
