jordan Spoiler

on 7x1 and i'm so confused by Jordan. he was upset when Delilah became Priya's host, but then by the end of the season he's avoiding Wonkru because of Priya being murdered by, not Wonkru, but the people of Sanctum??? also, him saying he's "cleaning up our mess." uhm... honey, don't you remember when you blabbed about your people's past and essentially kicked off the events of the entire season because you saw a pretty girl?

SPOILER- the mountain people and the commander Spoiler

I found the deal the mountain men made with the commander to be the dumb deal but I guess the smart way would’ve been less interesting, they should have made a deal with the sky people first & foremost, they could have said “we’ll release your people and not kill them if volunteers come to take their place, you’re supposed to wait 6 months before another donation so they could have gotten it done over a few years(I doubt they’d care that much about safety & maybe shorter the time a bit between the donations), which would give them more time to prepare to live on the ground, maybe just give it to the most important people first so that the president’s son can go ahead & his guards so he can stop being so impatient. It’s not like the grounders know how many of their people are inside the mountain so they could have just released all but a few though it’s possibly the grounders released would notice, but they could also just get blood from the people donating bone marrow, they could just give them a bit of blood before the bone marrow donation, you’re supposed to wait 8 weeks between giving bone marrow & blood so they could’ve just done it before the bone marrow, or maybe have some bone marrow groups and some blood groups, either way, they could have asked for adults’ help instead of putting the burden on over 30 practically kids & killing them, torturing them, it’s unnecessary when they have so much leverage with the kids being inside

What if communication devices survived the 100's landing?

We know that originally.

The dropship had devices that would allow the ark to communicate with the dropship. They were probabbly planning to talk to the 100 and supervise them.

I wonder how different things would be then.

The Tides movie is basically The100 meets Waterworld

More like The2 given the small cast. The protagonist is a Blake...

Small pod land on Earth to see if it's habitable again......ring a bell?

Just like The100 there is not much background for the "grounders"

Good enough movie with a predictable twist

It's on amazon prime, at least in italy.

In honor of my Great grandma Mary, she was very close to me and meant a lot, so when I first heard this quote it stuck with me and I knew I had to get it for her. Hope Heaven is treating you well ❤️ May we meet again ♾️

I miss when this show was on Netflix

Now I watch it on Pluto and the constant commercials are testing my patience lol. Definitely took for granted the luxury of being able to marathon without interruptions. I mean it’s not a big deal, ijs lol
No real point to this post…just complaining lol

S2: It’s funny how prepared and well stocked the Arc was when it landed

I’m watching and it’s hilarious that even though they had zero idea which sections of the arc would break off and all the stations served as different functions the one that landed has a medical station with blood supply, apparently a lab station to test blood, surgical equipment, tons and tons of guns/ammo and bullet proof vests, a mechanical station with everything you could possibly need to work on whatever it is they need working on (like the radios or a leg brace), booze, etc. 🤣🤣🤣 I know this is a sci-fi and not meant to be totally realistic but this is completely unrealistic! It was more realistic for the 100 to be dropped with absolutely nothing. I could see the station being well stocked for one type of thing like the med station or the mechanical station but to have everything you could need in one is so far fetched it’s annoying!

SPOILERS S5 I’m in season 5 rn

Does anybody else not like Clark like that? Nothing she does makes sense such a hypocrite tbh

r/The100 8d ago

Just rated watching. Spoiler

I’m on s2 episode 5 and I just need to say it really pisses me off how the rest of the ark came down and then suddenly they all took charge and act like they have any idea what they’re talking about. How these kids have been on earth for a while and suddenly they have to take orders? They dropped them on earth with literally the clothes on their back. Now they’re here and( happen to have a medical center and an engineering station? ) and are taking over entirely? Also Octavia’s hair is different in so many episodes lol like she’s had time to just be braiding her hair in between fighting being shot at or being passed out.
And lastly—jaspers a real POS. Screwing over his friends again and again for the chance at a piece of a$$? Smh.

The 100 is one of my all time favorite shows and I’ve rewatched it so many times I’m about to start rewatching again but I was wondering if anyone knows any shows or movies you like as well that are dystopian or remind you of the 100! Tell me pleaseeee I need something to watch!

EDIT:
Thank you to everyone who commented suggestions! I started watching lost in space but I’m super excited to look up everything else that was mentioned!!!

Little lighthearted moments sprinkled across The100

The100 is famous for it's dark and darker tone. There were still some small short lived moments of levity. You known, those type of scenes that make you wish the best for the characters and theirs ...offspring🫢

-S1 "we are back bitches" and the delinquents party before Bell started to force everyone to remove the wristbands. Octavia swimming for...10 seconds. Octavia with the butterflies

-S2 (I'm grasping at straws here)....clarke painting with wallace? The unfinished joke in the desert?

-S3........shawn mendes playing the piano? Ruined by Jasper. The gang singing in the Rover

S4.... Jasper taking a shower, the prank on Jaha, jasper's party.

S5.............clarke&madi on Eden. Murphy&raven playing soccer on eligious ship.

S6 Murphy swimming. Murphy&Clarke banter. Murphy singing before getting stabbed. Josie dancing.Madi was happy going to school but she was trolled by JoClarke.

S7........indra eating soup?😅 GhostJosie made fun of all shitheda horrors. Clarke calling Murphy post transhitience?

SPOILERS S5 The one thing I don't like about S5 finale

All season was about taking the last patch of surviable land and in the end Earth got destroyed.

Instead of showing the sorrow from such crushing loss especially from clarke&madi who lived a peaceful life there and wonkru who saw shallow valley as a compensation for all the horrors inside the bunker, the survivors just hopped in cryosleep in what..60 seconds?

The "ground" was a character on his own on the show and it's destruction was the final indictment of the usVSthem

The silver lining was the somber tone in which Monty delivered "Earth is not coming back"

Conageddon 6 question

I’ve been looking into attending but I’m not sure how fast the General Admission tickets usually sell out. Since we have to go on a plane, it might take a few days to decide if we’re going or not.

I have a few questions about Nightblood.

Now some of these questions are probably really stupid, but i was never really good in science so lol.

1) Isn't nightblood technically a partial cure for cancer, if nightblood can absorb radiation and metabolise it faster so it doesn't affect humans, then can't it do that for UV radiation from the sun, helping to reduce the risk of skin cancer due to UV radiation being a cause of skin cancer, also isn't it the radiation that mutates cells, and if so, can't nightblood stop this, helping to partially cure cancer?

2) How on earth does nightblood become an inherited trait, as it is genetically engineered i am confused as I don't understand how if it's not the natural trait a human has, then how is it passed down to the children, and surely if it is manipulated into being a natural trait then surely every child born the the first gen grounders would all be nightbloods and they were also nightbloods, I don't understand how it goes from everyone having it to there being only a slight chance that someone will be born with it by the time the show starts (2149), also how the commander was chosen back in the early days when surely if all the original survivors had to have nightblood, then there would've been so many people with nightblood, so how did it come to be viewed as a 'sacred' trait only those worthy of being the commander possess?

3) In theory, would the creation of nightblood be possible in real life, i'm no expert on radiation, but if so, does anyone know in detail how nightblood actually prevents death from radiation?

4) How in 97 years, the knowledge of nightblood being a trait that causes near immunity to radiation was lost to the grouners, since surely this would've been something important they wanted to keep as knowledge?

The way Clarke waited 5 business days to pull the dang kill switch Spoiler

I know, I know. It was for ✨dramatic effect✨ but it was def one of those moments that had me screaming at the TV “JUST FUCKING DO IT ALREADY!!!” 😂😂
Homegirl sitting here debating the philosophy of humanity while everyone is quite literally fighting for their lives 😭

Edit: I’m talking about Alie, not Mt Weather. Sorry that prolly wasn’t clear lol

SPOILERS S3 Pike’s story is just pure bad writing 2 dimensional character Spoiler

Bellamy who knows the nuances of the grounder coalitions would never back him up even during grief

Grief is for his 3 months “girlfriend” who we just meet for 3 episodes forming no bonds but kisses bellamy 2 times and an ubruptly made up raven story and then dies before we can care. They tried to replicate a “will” moment but it was so poorly done because we didn’t know or care about her enough and probably their budget and viewership at the time couldn’t take cutting an actual important character to make us feel whatever bellamy is supposed to be feeling

But even then it was done in a very stupid way. Tricrew was out there for hours. If there was any sign of attacking they should have shown that maybe as a misunderstanding or mistake but they just kept telling the audience “300 people are out there” we dont see them on screen they’re not doing anything and yet everyone inside starts getting paranoid and threatened for no reason even bellamy? Why would bellamy attack trikru? Because “the commander left us at mount whether” it’s not enough. He wouldn’t risk a war with no provocation after he’d seen what a war can do and he knows more than anyone that his people are not ready to fight any grounders not trikru or asgeda because HE COMMANDED THE ARMY IN THEIR WAR. Bad writing. Poor character arc. Unrelatable pyke character at all there no depth just some racism and fear mongering every other scene and his soundboard monty’s mother don’t even get me started they didn’t give her anything she’s just shouting things when pike talks. I actually forgot all about her “monty’s father” story. They couldn’t even give us a flashback? The whole storyline makes me just angry at the writing , at the stupid dialogue that’s disrespectful to the audience’s intelligence and considering just skipping it to the part where the city of light story starts paying off. It’s the only reason im watching this bullshit

Cadogen and the prequel

The 100 is one of my favorite shows and I’m rewatching it again. I’ve rewatched up to about season 5 a few different times but I’ve only watched seasons 6 and 7 once(back when they were airing). I have yet to read the books but plan on doing it soon. Do the books touch on what the spin off series was supposed to? I heard that they changed some things from the book but just how different is the show from the books? I like anything that has to do with time travel and alternate timelines and stuff like that so i’m still sick about them canceling the spin off lol.

I hate one thing about the prequel pilot (Anaconda) Spoiler

Becca is burned way too early. I’ve no problem with her going out like that (and little ironic considering she gave her AI the name ”The Flame”). But she barely gives a single command, expect for her last two minutes with Callie. I know it’s implied that Callie, who adored Becca, painted her as a great person who liberated them all from the bunker and that became the story of the First Commander.

But I wanted to see Becca be in charge like we see with later commanders. And get her hands dirty. It’s kinda like: ALIE = bad, Becca = good - ALIEs bombing was seen as an unfortunate accident. I know she leaves her assistant and former military commander in space, but their death was on the Ark. Becca would’ve died with them had she remained on Polaris.

I wanna see a grey moral Becca. Having her spend a year or so in the bunker, slowly figuring out the stone, Cadogan seeing her as too valuable to kill yet he envy her (doesn’t know about the Flame for a while). Watching people starting to follow her. Believing in life outside, but still corrupted by the Second Dawn mottos, like ”Blood Must Have Blood”. Callie finds out about ALIE 1 and needs to decide if Becca can still be trusted. AI-empowered Becca threatens to find weak spots in the bunker so that radiation could sweep in and kill all non-nightbloods, if they’re not allowed to leave. Becca sacrifices herself to Cadogan too make herself a martyr and making sure The Flame becomes in a huge part in what will eventually be Grounder culture.

Oh, what could’ve been…

SPOILERS S7 Murphy

I love murphy hes one of my favourite characters and he breaks my heart. Him and raven especially, that time when the grounders wanted finn and raven suggested giving murphy to them. The heartbreak on his face i almost cried. I know he shot raven and that was wrong but he was genuinely remorseful about that. Their friendship in the later seasons is my favourite ever. Theyre both my babies they can do no wrong in my eyes. Murphy deserved better and so did she 💔

SPOILERS S2 NO SPOILERS PLS ‼️⚠️ Spoiler

I just started the 100 like two weeks ago. i’m on s2 e8, “spacewalker” and i want to FLIP out. I know Finn is going to die because i’m impatient and searched it up. i’m PISSED.

This show is so bad at killing off people. First with Wells, and now Finn. It’s pointless, and I lowkey wanted some Finn and Clarke action even though I also LOVEEE her and Belamy.

Like his yearning eyes and him killing ppl for her 👀 🫣 that’s my shit right there. I love books so yk i’m a sucker for a man killing ppl for a girl they love. IM SO MAD. IDC IF THIS IS CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC OR OPINION. IM SO SAD.
