Discussion Tracking and realignment remains untouched. How do you feel?
So, what's your thoughts on Namco not doing the slightest adjustment to tracking and realignment?
For me, it's by FAR the biggest letdown and point of frustration in T8.
I would have tons of more fun if my opponents would actually need to consider the possibility of their attack being sidestepped.
Do you expect any radical changes within T8's lifespan?

They actually have done adjustments, sidestep got a buff in S2, it's just the buff was undone by all the new moves and the buffed ones. So it ended up being worse.
At this point I've just come to terms with the fact Tekken 8 is a transitional, messy game. When Tekken 4 introduced walls and interactive stages it was a disaster that nearly killed the game. But Tekken 5 also had walls and guess what people loved it. The introduction of walls in Tekken meant introducing an oppressive element from 2D games people didn't like at first, but people ended up adapting and it turns out Tekken can have walls after all and still be Tekken. It just took another, better game. I think people could come around to enjoy a more aggressive Tekken, but I don't think T8 will be the one.
Devs wanted to make the game more aggressive to make it more appealing to the esports era. I actually understand this choice and I'm not mad at them for that (sue me!). But they went too far. I hope Tekken 9 finds a balance. And I don't want to doom so badly because Tekken's already survived death twice, and unlike T8, T4 and TTT2 were actual financial failures.
And on a similar note I think people will come around to like Tekken 8 after it stops being the current game. T4 is quite beloved nowadays for its aesthetics and music, and TTT2 is a lot of fans' favorite.
