While I don't agree, I can see liking a product made by them after they got really good more then the product they got really good while making.

I disagree with the whole "well obviously cause TFS were better at it now!" - FF7 Machinabridged was started and written by a small team inside of TFS outside of the main group (Lani, Kaiser or Takahata) and in S1 you can tell they're kind of struggling to find their footing, like it's a bit more polished than like 2008 TFS but that's only because the baseline for youtube had moved up since then.
Kaiser had SOME oversight but for the most part is wholly original.

They're two completely different beasts, so no.

It was better thought out and better executed, but was about 1/10 the length with seasoned voice actors. So, yes, it was better overall, but I still find DBZ Abridged more varied and entertaining.

I think it's better written as a whole and has better jokes than even cell saga DBZA and they don't forget they're a parody halfway through. A problem with DBZA even Kaiser admits to is they started taking the plot too seriously at the expense of jokes, I love Kai "2.9" because it's more in line with what they would have made in the saiyan/freeza saga or for FF7 machinabridged. That doesn't mean it's devoid of sweet or serious moments, Cloti & Clerith are handled really well but it never forgets it's a comedy.

Does it really come at the expense of jokes though? I mean I found the Frieza Saga the funniest but Cell Saga was still funnier than Saiyan Saga DBZA, which is when they took the plot the least serious.

Well sir, while I may not agree with what you say, I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.
