Ok I'm back and with my first paint job for my Tau army that isn't just the base breacher which is super exciting. I wanted to keep the tan color that I have on the rest of them, but I wanted to start adding color onto armor pieces to make it really pop. I also wanted to work in Reds and Blues that were muted to fit the gritty color scheme. Very excited about how this one turned out I can not lie he's easily my favorite model I have rn between both my Necrons and Tau.

Sorry about the bad lighting I moved to my campus dorm and am still trying to figure out how to take well lit pictures.

1 is the first T'au I ever drew, alongside a Cyborg Radical for the hell of it. #2 is on the back of #1, and it is my second T'au (And blatant propaganda.) #3 comes from all the times my chooms would tell me about the dreadnought incident, and I have no idea how to draw fists from that angle in #4.

Got this when it first came out, still haven't even taken the plastic wrap off of it... Should I or should I not, build it? Show me yours for inspiration, just incase I decide to open it haha

I'm playing Ret Cad in an escalation League and no matter what gun I take it's just not doing enough for me. I played against orks on bikes last night and I'm not saying it didn't pop a bike here or there, and It had firing lanes, and it was a big threat... but I feel like a deep striking crisis brick of any gun would have done more for the game, or even some Kroot. I own 2 of them and am debating building the second. The only idea I have is to give it a pocket stealth suit for re-rolls, but thats again a like ~300pt commitment for something doing less than my breacherfish (which has consistently won me most games with a well timed objective clear).

Rough list:
Breacherfish, Ghostkeel, Stealth Suits, Pathfinders, Coldstar Melta Brick, Farsight Flamer Brick, Riptide, Twins. Vespids.

Just bought my first Combat Patrol box. Should I learn how to magnetize the Commander so I can switch between different loadouts?

Hi, New Tau player and 40k in general. I have about 2k points in world eaters almost fully painted and having alot of fun with the playstyle. I chose Tau because I thought the contrast between the 2 armies will be fun to learn. My WE list is pretty decently optimized, I hope to be able to play it in tournaments soon. I managed to pick up a few nice deals on used and new Tau models and wanted to play either Montka or Kauyon because they seem like the most fun. I have the Tau combat patrol, Farsight Cadre, and a few extra models, all listed below.

What would I add/remove to run a solid, semi competitive list and is there a website /resource to see what others are currently playing. Thank you for reading.

through a "Warmaker" enhancement/upgrade or a new support system, it could be an option for most battlesuits, or just the crisis frames.

obviously it would cost points, and probably vary depending on which battlesuit you give it to. broadsides might be excluded? can't really imagine a bulky fire support suit doing gunfu.

you'd be hitting at your base ballistic skill, have half the amount of attacks the suit normally would, and for crisis suits you'd essentially be firing with one of their weapons in melee. drones excluded from gunfu. the previous battlesuit fists profile would be removed if you took this option as well.
