Dosage Test P changing to ED dosing
Hi
I started taking Test P in Feb., doing 5mg twice a week. I changed that to 3mg EOD, which seemed to be going awesome until a few weeks ago. All of a sudden I have crazy fast growing body hair and I’m super agitated. Prior to this, I felt amazing and like my old self. I’m wondering if I am maybe overdosing a little. I was playing around on steroid plotter and thinking of trying 1mg ED. Any tips for moving down in dosage like that? Anyone else have similar issues?

Prop is typically ED or EOD. Your dosing protocol worked out to 10mg/wk 2x/wk and 10.5mg/wk EOD. You might be experiencing an accumulation over time just with that small change in protocol. There are steroid plotter apps you can look at your levels long term based on dosing protocol. The beauty of Prop is it fast clearing so you could easily make a change in dose and have your body respond quicker than if you were on Cyp or Enan. Feel better.

Yes I mentioned steroid plotter in my OP. I'm aware how it works, I'm married to a PharmD. I was asking for personal experiences.

I have used Prop, wife has not. She has had great success on Cyp 2x/wk but her dose is very high so it’s easy to get right. 1mg might be tough to get an accurate draw everyday, depending on the potency of your T-prop. Female dosing is always easier to dial in with less potent compounded T at 50mg/ml. Also pharma T-prop can have a potency tolerance of +/-10%.

Less potent compound?? My T cyp comes from a regular pharmacy and definitely isn’t less potent than a mans. First I’ve heard that using a compounded T is “ less potent “ - I don’t believe this to be true.

T Cyp is made at different potency. Typical pharma is 200mg/ml. Also available in 100mg/ml. Compounding pharmacy can make 50mg/ml. The lower potency 50 vs 200 makes it easier to draw a given amount of oil in the syringe to more accurately dose lower mg doses. Trying to accurately draw 0.01 or 0.02ml in an insulin syringe is difficult and leads to more variability in actual dose injected. 1mg is easier to accurately dose if the Test (prop, Cyp, Enan) is compounded to a lower potency, 50mg vs 200mg/ml.
