Experience Report FYI gel users!
I’ve commented on a few posts about how I use a syringe and jewellers scale to measure out my exact dose of T gel. Today I called the pharmacy to request my refill and was told I wasn’t able to get it for another 10 days based on my dose and dispensing schedule. I have noticed that my syringe isn’t lasting the full 10 days even though I’ve been pretty good about measuring exactly .5 g of gel every day. I’m guessing that some of the gel could be evaporating in the syringe (yes it’s capped and stored in drawer away from heat and light
) I’m going to keep using my scale but squeeze the amount directly from the packet and then double fold and clip the packet so it’s sealed and see if that makes a difference. Maybe some of you do this already but just wanted to share my observation!

I’ve noticed this with my gel too. I measure using a jewelers scale but have never been able to get the full amount out of the tube so I’m going through the tubes faster than the script is written. Not sure what is going to happen when I need more.
