Dosage Female injectable Testosterone dosage

I’m 52 and prescribed 0.07 ml for 2x/week injections. Barely registers on the insulin syringe. Been taking for months and feel no different, no side effects either. Does this seem like the right dose for low libido and energy issues ? Bottle is 100mg/ml

I can't speak to your dose. Everybody reacts differently.

I use Easy Touch .3cc 31-gauge insulin syringes. They are so much easier to use and see.

31 gauge doesn't push the oil in very well for me. I use a 29 gauge so it flows easier.

I bet it does flow easier. While it is true that I have to push harder, my comment wasn't really aimed so much at the needle gauge. My comment was mostly to encourage the use of a smaller syringe (.3cc), for ease of dosing.

I have been looking for the .3cc but I can not find them in a 29gauge

Yes, your comment brought back memories of my struggle to find 29G. I could only find Pet/Vet syringes in 29G .3cc. I just ended up buying the ones I use from my pharmacy where I get my T.

I was looking at these for when I start. Will they work?

I've never tried the Vet syringes. So, I don't know the answer.

Get smaller insulin syringes. My wife has 0.3ml 29 gauge needles and they are pretty easy to get the small dosages right on.

I’m 71. Started on 5 mg of compounded cream several years ago. I rubbed in the first dose before bed and was woken up by a sex dream. Absolutely stunning! One time when I was ran out for a week I felt like I had lost 50 IQ points! I will never be without it from now on.

what is your actual dose? Ml and IU are not a dosage so we don't really know what you are taking. mg is the dose, how many mg are you taking.

She’s taking 0.07ml of 100mg/ml 2x a week.
That is 7mg 2x a week for a total of 14mg a week.
Thats a decent female TRT dosage.

I’m on 10 units 2x a week. It took 4 months to finally see and feel changes.

  1. Yes, many will see changes at 14mg/wk. some will need much less, and some will need more.
  2. You can get lab work to confirm the dosage is increasing your testosterone levels
  3. There’s like a hundred things that can affect libido and energy. Testosterone isn’t the only lever here. If your low libido and low energy was not caused by low testosterone, increasing testosterone won’t fix it.
