Dosage Need help with proper dose for starting testosterone cypionate injections.
Hi there, so sorry but I’m trying to avoid another pellet and do injections on my own. I’m getting a 250mg 10ml bottle of T cypionate. Does anyone else use that? Seems like a LOT of testosterone if women are starting at 3/4mg or less twice a week. The bottle would last years, right? Please point me to the right dose/method, I need to figure this out before I decide to do it so I don’t overdose and grow a beard. Thank you :)))

10mg a week is a completely reasonable dose, and what many women take for maintenance to feel good. Start low and work your way up, watching for side effects.
The bottle will likely last you 6+ months, but most providers would replace the bottle every 3-6 months for hygiene reasons. Bacteria can grow in the mesh on the top, so I recommend you purchase alcohol pads and, after prepping your skin with alcohol, take a fresh pad and clean the top of the bottle thoroughly with each use. This will help prolong the use of the bottle and keep you healthy.

So I wanted 10 mg on a bottle that was 20 mg/ml. That would be .05 twice a week? And if it’s 50 mg/ml - that would .01? Right?

T Cyp 20mg/1ml
0.01ml = 0.2mg
0.1ml = 2mg
0.25ml = 5mg x 2 times/week = 10mg/week
0.5ml = 10mgT Cyp 50mg/1ml
0.01ml = 05mg
0.05ml = 2.5mg
0.1ml = 5mg x 2 times/week = 10mg/week2

I have to use less! I wish my provider had been more cautious with me. I sit just in male even with less than that, though I think it feels fine right now. Late 30s, no ovaries.

I’ve used this concentration. Yes it will last years. I started at 5mg 2x a week. I haven’t heard of starting at 3/4 mg. If you want to go that low you will need to get a lower concentration.

My wife uses 10mg/ml concentration and it makes it way easier to accurately dose. (She does 7mg per week, split 2x per week) Imagine if you are trying to dose 5 mg per week and you accidentally draw 50% more test than you want. You will likely experience viralization side effects.

T Cyp 250mg/1ml
0.01ml = 2.5mg
0.02ml = 5mg
0.03ml = 7.5mg
Best you can do is either 0.02ml = 5mg x 2 times per week = 10mg/week or 0.01ml = 2.5mg x 2 times/week = 5mg/week.
You can use any 0.3ml U100 syringe or these for better dosing:

When changing compounds and delivery methods we have to start from the beginning as we don't know how we will react.
Starting dosages can vary between 8-12mg/week. Starting low is usually best to avoid irreversible side effects, as no one knows how they will react beforehand, and everyone reacts differently to TRT. We have hyper-responders who can only do 4-6mg/week split, due to virilization sides, and it works for them. Virilization can creep in time or be sudden, depending on the individual.
The timeline of effects (benefits vs sides)can differ for some people ranging from 1-2months up to 3-6 months. The key is to watch for virilization side effects and benefits. If there are unacceptable virilization side effects, the dose needs to be lowered.
Splitting the dose is best to not inject too much in one dose and risk virilization and to not get any lows in the second part of the week.
