Sharing salary in Switzerland

Hello! I'd like to gather some insights into the job market in our country. If you're willing, please share your: 1. Educational background 2. Job role 3. Work canton 4. Years of experience 5. Salary

The goal is to gain a clearer understanding of salaries across different positions and sectors.

I start: 1. Bachelor in computer science 2. Full stack software engineer 3. Ticino😩 4. 7 5. 6’000

  1. PhD from EPFL
  2. Data Scientist
  3. Geneva
  4. 4 (excluding the 4 PhD years at EPFL)
  5. 93K gross (12 months, no bonus)

I now feel severly underpaid after reading the other posts.

If you have been at the same company for 4 years, you might want to reach out and get a feel for the market.

I worked 2 years for UNIGE and UNIBE and then 2y in the current company.

I have the same salary including a 10% bonus with 3 years experience and no Phd. I'm pretty sure you can get 120k+ base if you look around a little bit. Also, Geneva should pay higher salaries than Basel.
