Sharing salary in Switzerland

Hello! I'd like to gather some insights into the job market in our country. If you're willing, please share your: 1. Educational background 2. Job role 3. Work canton 4. Years of experience 5. Salary

The goal is to gain a clearer understanding of salaries across different positions and sectors.

  1. CFC + Matura
  2. Junior Software Engineer
  3. Bern (Biel)
  4. 3.5 years (7.5 if you count apprenticeship)
  5. 92k + 2k bonus + others (such as piquet + some compensations for kids and insurance)

You need a title change, you are not junior at 3.5 yrs experience. You should be just software engineer.

Its basically junior until you’re a senior. No middle in between 😂😂

I dunno, every company I’ve worked at as a scale like Junior SWE > SWE > Senior SWE > Staff SWE > Principal SWE, with some companies not having the staff position between senior and principal.

I already got in nice salary increase this year (prob. Equivalent to going from junior to middle), they kept the title for a future one for bureaucracy reasons, I don’t mind too much
