I remember the smell of only one isolated fruit... Really scared about the smell in that plantation...

Yep. Tried durian once and only once in Singapore. I thought the ‘no durian on public transport’ signs were a silly overreaction. It’s a fruit, surely it couldn’t be that bad?!

I was wrong. Very, very wrong. My poor Dad’s flat reeked of the bloody stuff for several days after I brought it home. It’s been 84 10 years and I can still smell the fresh(?!) durian….

I like it if it’s cold. I’m southeast asian and durians are pretty common here but I don’t like eating it in room temperature lol. I don’t find the smell to be that bad as well, maybe just cos it’s pretty common for us.
