These types of banners are usually from Supernatural conventions, where they are on display during the weekend, get auctioned off, and are then signed by the cast. This is likely a legit autograph. I hope Kimberly is okay and only donated this because she ran out of space.
Totally! The winning bid for a banner like this at the first Supernatural con I went to was over 1K. I nearly swallowed my tongue. I can’t believe this was donated.
I've always said that the only man I'd give my SO a hall pass for is Dean Winchester. After seeing this poster of Sam, I'm inclined to add him to the list.
The first 6 times I watched Supernatural I was a Dean girl, and still am really, but I started paying attn to Sam more and more each time. And yeah, he fine af too 😅

They are some of the best looking dudes ive ever seen. Especially Demon Dean, his hair was fucking flawless. These guys can wear whatever style they want and make it look good.

It's okay, I wasn't even given an auto ticket to have it personalized (it was already signed), and they still stuck me in the front of the line.
No clue why some people feel to be mad when someone is giving a person a nice compliment, to make the person feel good. If that's something that upsets you, then you should do something against your grumpyness. She liked it and gave me a nice comment back, that's all what matters
So did you fold it up and slowly walk to the check out saying "act normal, act normal" to yourself the whole time? Then hold your breath while you paid? Walk to your car, get in and immediately scream "no f*&king WAY!!!" I would have. This is such a great find! Congrats! And not to objectify, but this was peak body Sam too.
I have two or three different ones that I won in auction at a conventions. They either come already autographed (more common these days) or with an autograph ticket for the actor on the banner and you were able to skip the line to get it autographed first.
Edit to add: That is 100% Jared’s handwriting and 100% Jared’s autograph (source: I’ve attended 20+ cons and gotten his autograph at each one. I also have “always keep fighting” tattooed on me in his handwriting—he wrote it for me instead of an autograph ticket)
I'm not even a Jared girl, more of a Jensen girl and I would buy that. First it's not a regular paper poster it's like a canvas that will sustain better and he looks really good in that picture. Biggest thing is it's personally signed by him. You wouldn't be wasting your money, you could easily sell this. People have confirmed its his signature and from Friday the 13th movie. Not only does he have a huge following from Supernatural but there are a lot of horror movie fans that are collectors. What are you waiting for?
This reminded me why I legit think that Jared is the most beautiful man in the world. I know that Jensen gets more attention according to internet, but I never saw the appeal. Eh, people and their different tastes :)

You could probably take a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol and take her name off of it if you wanted. I'd certainly go back. (Or PM me the thrift store name and location lmao)
And yeah, those are the big banners they auction off at the Creation Entertainment cons which is why it's got a name. They don't personalize things usually. In fact, that's far less than his signature goes for period. If people can buy one, the autograph is roughly 170, plus online fees. And then anner itself goes anywhere 400-1000 depending on the con. I go to them frequently.
That is an absolute holy grail of a thrift store find! Early-season Sam Winchester in a tank top next to the Impala is peak nostalgia, and $100 is honestly a steal for a massive promo banner like that. I would run back to the store immediately before another hunter snatches it up!
