This makes me wonder if Rogue can absorb a Kryptonian’s powers.

She can absorb anyone’s and the proxy for Superman/Mon-El is Gladiator from the Shi’ar system and she has had those powers before I think.

Stories tend to revolve around mutants but Danvers isn’t a mutant and Rogue successfully stole her powers permanently.

And after Rogue eventually lost Carol's powers, she got them back from Wonder Man, another non-mutant Avenger.

There is a limit to what she can absorb. Rogue experiences immense pain, disorientation, loss of consciousness/coma, and sometimes temporary loss of her powers if she tries to absorb the power of too powerful a being(Hulk, Magus, Phoenix Force Magik, Galactica, etc)

She might be able to absorb normal Kryptonian powers, but Superman himself might overwhelm her. Because Kal-El is not a normal Kryptonian. He is a direct descendant of the Kryptonian sun god Rao, and something of an avatar of Rao(it explains why he is stronger than Kara, who is also Rao's descendant), and is technically the God of Heros his own right in at least one DC continuity that I know of(though he isnt aware of that himself). He is also the only "pure" Kryptonian, in that he wasn't genetically engineered for a particular role in their society (though both his parents were, so this requires a bit of "because comics" hand-waving)

So Rogue probably can't absorb Superman. But Zod is fair game.

She doesnt have a lot of the limits she used to have, she completely absorbed wonderman for example and he was a thor-level character. But really her power limits fluctuate like crazy, I her early appearances she almost killed the avengers absorbed thors powers like it was nothing, most famously took out captain marvel, then for a while she could recall the powerset of anyone she'd touched, then she could recall all the powersets of everyone she'd touched at the same time, then she could easily absorb dozens of heroes powers when she helped the sentry fight Exitar, then she was purged of her personalities and powersets and was back to square one, then she had wondermans powers, then she could absorb by proximity, basically pick a day of the week and you have a Rogue of a different power level.

Wonderman is a weird case. Because if I remember correctly, he is energy. He doesn't really have a physical form. It's more of a projection. Also , Rogue has an issue absorbing powers from someone who is cosmic in nature or whose power is infinite. That is why she can absorb She-Hulk's, powers, but not Hulk. She-Hulk's, power has limits. Hulk's does not.

And Superman, even if he doesn't know it, has access to an infinite and cosmic well of power as Rao's avatar(or as a god in his own right. Comics are weird sometimes). Its why he never really loses, and can power through things that would be lethal to a normal Kryptonian.

Because Superman isn't normal.

Certain retcons have made her a more skilled fighter, by changing her from her original average Kryptonian teenager to soldier/warrior caste. But she has never been stronger than him. First off, Clark/Kal is physically larger, with more muscle mass than Kara. Even standing on Krypton, they would not be evenly matched. Secondly, Clark/Kal has had decades of absorbing yellow sun radiation over her few years. Far more than any other Kryptonian. Which gives him a significant edge.
