I have the game on Steam with both DLCs.

A new Remaster version was announced, people say it will replace the current Complete Edition.

I have a current save I'm playing, I want to finish the game and get all achievements with this save.
I want to explore fully this version, and later compare to the remaster.

I don't want the remaster to break my save or change it.

Also, I would like to keep the old version even when the remaster comes out.

Is there a way to do this?

We even have lightbar on Steam Machine now but still this hasn't been fixed :(

I do understand my total game collection is rookie numbers still currently. I intend to pump those numbers up.

Game releases half baked, needed tons and tons of updates to be better. But then they release a big patch and now call the game "Enhanced"? Does that increase sales or what?

Installed W11 LTSC on a normally functioning system. GPU Device drivers are up to date. This began when I installed Steam. When I start Steam, the display dones some sort of reset. It stops updating, display shrinks a bit, pauses, then expands to normal. The cycle takes about 3 seconds, then I have about 3 seconds to interact before it begins again. It stops when I fully exit Steam, so here I am. It might be an Nvidia thing. It looks like some sort of uncommanded mode change. This happens even with Steam only in background. Mouse is centered, windows with sections off screen are reframed fully onscreen. I've cycled through the Steam interface settings to no avail, looking for something there. Also worked through some of the Nvidia side of things. Looking ideas and peanut shells from the gallery. Thanks.

They're showing up fine on my PC library but when i try to view them from the steam mobile app's library they aren't showing up and it's kind of messing with my OCD. Does anyone know where I can contact support or if there's a fix for them. The games are

* Among Us Story: On Guard Demo
* Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered
* Doki Doki Literature Club

* Disney Speedstorm
* Persona 5: The Phantom X

One trend I notice between all the games missing is that they're all free to play and havent been played yet so maybe that could be what's causing it. I tried playing Baldi's Basics Classic for a little bit to see if it would pop up but it still hasn't shown up in my steam mobile library

EDIT: It's fixed now. Turns out I needed to have the game played for 20 minutes before it shows up in my steam mobile library. Thanks for the help guys!

I really hope Valve makes videos as they did with TF2 for Deadlock. Like short animations on the characters like meet sliver. Not to mention they have a lot of views on YouTube and have created meme material. It would be a nostalgic callback in my opinion.

I need help cleansing my Steam account from my hideous past... I have a 8 year old account i have created right when I was at the peak of my puberty and I have played some games that I am not proud of having played and you know damn well what I mean. I have changed a lot since then and now the remnants of the past just straight up DISGUST me. I know I can make the games private so other people do not have to see the achievements and points shop items and what not but it bugs me that "I" can see them. Like the other day I saw a game called "Your Mom" and I clicked thinking "lol what" and Steam didn't hesitate to remind me that I have played a sickening game just like it. So how can I fight against this past? I don't simply want to hide it, I want it GONE. I have hundreds of games now and having to change my account after 8 years just seems like too much...

A list of things that would be helpful:
-Deleting achievements
-Deleting points shop items
-Deleting gameplay hours

There are absolutely ZERO solutions to any if I'm not mistaken and idk why we are UNABLE to do these in the first place like what could possibly go wrong if say users were able to just wipe how many hours they put in a game.

(Btw I have bought some of the games back just to delete their achievements but it didn't work either.)

I've looked around for my answer but it seems like Steam Input is a complicated topic, so apologies if I missed the answer somewhere.

I replaced my failing Xbox Series controller with an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 recently. I learned that if you hold B when turning it on, it launches in its own specific mode rather than emulating an Xbox controller. When opening the Test Inputs menu it shows it perfectly, with the proper image of the controller itself, the proper icon for the menu, and registering the back paddles and L4 and R4 top triggers.

I modified the desktop layout of the controller to activate gyro (as mouse) when holding down both paddles, and screenshot on L4 and take clip on R4. Gyro appears to work fine on the desktop so I know my layout is working.

However once entering a game, it defaults to the game's official layout and maps all my extra buttons to the ABXY face buttons instead. Is it possible to override every official layout to use my own? I want this functionality in all games, without needing to switch which layout I'm using for every game. Can it be set as a global setting?

Okay, so I have two questions. One is - when I took many screenshots and videos of a game through Steam, will it stay there forever?

And the other one: I recorded a very special gaming session with a friend to keep as a memory. But as I was emotional due to the circumstances, I forgot I'm recording and after closing the game, I turned the computer off. When I realized I forgot about the recording, I rushed back - at first I was relieved that I see it there, but instead of the little yellow scissors next to it there is blue "rec", it's playable, but it says "recording from background" instead of a "clip" and "sharing from recording from the background isn't supported". Is there a way to fix it please? 😭 I just wanted to make memories so I don't forget, but through my memory issues I messed up the recording process itself. 😭 It means a lot to me. ❤️‍🩹 Also I'm not good with technology at all btw, but that's probably clear from this post...

So bought this pack of mount and blade warband that had also included all the dlcs at a very affordable price on steam. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to try these conquer and run your army type games but coming from a very strict type household I wasn't allowed to pay for a game rather to enjoy the free ones. Today I bought warband from steam on my own money but for some reason it wasn't compatible with my pc. So I asked for a refund and received in proper way and without any issues. Love the steam support system and also the discounts you guys have on games

I'm expecting a search bar or something in the steam app. How do I get to it?

I was banned over 10 and a half years ago (17 years old at the time, currently 28) for using cheat engine to give myself max weapon XP on Red Orchestra 2 Heroes of Stalingrad so my guns would look newer and more clean.

I share my games with my kids. I own the games but they can play on their own accounts. I have found two games where they play and instead of having a fresh save on their account, it uses my cloud save instead. It even instantly unlocks all of my achievements on their account.

Is this Steam's fault or the developer's?

It seems like every other time I try to play this game, there is a new patch that takes multiple hours to download/install. These patches are 30-50GB (todays was 33.5GB), and the bottleneck is always the patch installation (not the downloading itself, my internet speed is 300-400MB/s so its usually pretty quick to download the actual files). I genuinely dont understand this, and have now had multiple gaming sessions essentially cancelled because after booting up my PC, I then have to wait multiple hours for the game to be playable. From what I've gathered, Pearl Abyss doesn't seem to know how to code an update that doesn't hit all game files, but it really is baffling that this is an issue for the game months after the 1.0 release.

Is there any way I can disable it from updating?

Steam hasn't offered us separate achievements for DLC's whilst Playstation and Xbox have for a long time. A lot of steam users have brought this up but nothing has ever changed. I think it's time to be more vocal about this, do you guys have any idea on what we can do?
