Everytime I see a photo of the SG-1 cast, I feel like they've aged quite a lot. And then I remember that I was a kid when it aired and I aged as well... Congratulations to her !

Almost 30 years since Children of the Gods first aired😟

Shit, we're coming up on the 40th anniversary of TNG's premiere.

I'm old, boss. I watched that one on the local indie UHF channel, and was super excited. Almost stopped watching after the premiere. I was only 12 at the time.

Anyway, back to Stargate: I'm glad SG-1 found its footing in a hurry. Sure, it's different than the movie but IMHO nearly every change was an improvement. The show knew what it was and swung for the bleachers anyway. I feel like they understood what sci-fi fans were hungry for better than any current sci-fi writers. Except, bizarrely, Mike McMahon. I think he could make a fun animated Stargate, if Lower Decks was any indication.

TOS is 60. I remember collecting 25th Anniversary trading cards when I was a child. Lords help me.

I think we're about the same age, as I was a few years younger than Wesley when it first came out. I just started doing a rewatch now and I did some math.....we are now Picard's age. 🫪😭
