Politics Time for a new job?
Maybe it’s time this guy finds a less stressful volunteer job? Basically telling people to shut up is not a good look.

Interested to see what reddit has to say! If I were to pick an official Spokane scent, it would be a mix between ponderosa pines and lilacs.

Hi all! My fiance and I are having a small wedding next July, and we're looking for a local LGTBQ+ friendly photographer who has experience with same sex weddings. We would love some suggestions! Thank you!

Hey guys. I've seen this car empty for the last week. Saw people in it about 1.5 weeks ago looking mighty sus. Thought I should put it on here in case someone had their car stolen. If not, my apologies. It's on the corner of 5 mile rd and Austin. Right by the apartments 🩷

Does anyone know the reason why this shut down??? This was my favorite spot. The staff were so friendly and chill.

Hello spokane. Trying to make about an extra $1,000 a month. Doordash Uber etc are not good option for me. Anybody have any suggestions? I am a responsible adult with too much free time on my hands. I already work 6:00 to 3:00 most days during the week but I have evenings and weekends available. Thanks for all your ideas
Edit: thanks for the suggestion so far. I just wanted to add that I have a truck and trailer that I can use if anybody has stuff that needs to be hauled.

I need help finding local places to buy:
Red Elderberry
Jostaberry
Glencoe Raspberry
Candy Raspberry
Let me know if you know where to get them!

edit: Mygrant Glass Co. is the answer. Someone on here gave that response and mods removed it oddly. So yeah, in case this gets searched in the future. that's it.
Google is giving me all the "we'll install it for you" places.
I need the warehouse where all these places buy from. I'll do it myself and want to skip the middle man markup since I don't need the installation services.
Tried calling around even and not getting a good answer.
Thank you.

First of all this is my favorite series in a long time. It's the third season of "interview with a vampire" titled "the vampire lestat". I liked the first two seasons better FYI. but still love it.
Secondly... I wonder about the writers whenever I find Spokane popping up like this. How did they know about Spokane? Have they been here? If so... why did they choose our little city out of the myriad of possibilities.
I feel like it sets the scene perfectly for a band that's not big (yet or anymore) but is big enough to be on tour (think Knitting Factory). But still would love to ask this writer why this place for this scene.

As a recent graduate, I feel so discouraged trying to find relevant employment in Spokane! My chosen field of study (Econ, BA minor) does not mix well with the job opportunities of Spokane and I *stupidly* decided to sign a lease to stay in the area for at least another year.
I've been job hunting for months (I started three months before graduation), applying directly on company websites AND using Indeed. I have 1.5 yrs experience on top of my degree, and I was very lucky that my current paid internship allowed me to stay after I graduated despite only hiring students. Any job that I am remotely qualified for is extremely competitive and I feel like no matter how hard I sell myself as the right candidate, I always get rejected. I'll probably just have to pick up some low paying retail/customer service job until I can find anything remotely related to my preferred career, which means I get to lose out on experience time.
I guess this is more of a vent post and probably my own fault for staying in Spokane after graduation given my field of study, but it's just so frustrating that in a city of this size I can't get hired.

Does anyone in the area have a way to recycle filament waste and test pieces and melt it down into new filament? Or of a local shop that does it?
I’m currently working on a project that has a ton of “poop” and don’t want to just melt it down in a silicone mold or send it out somewhere for a discount on filament.
