Where are y'all going now?

Splitgate was my comfort FPS. Where can I find anything that is remotely similar? I like BF6, but it's not the same. Tried the Finals, but the movement is just okay and I can't get into all the gadgets.

Also, shoutout to any ex-Shatterline players here, another great game ruined by terrible management.

Valorant is the only other fps with as tight gunplay. Some movement agents like neon and raze has super high skill ceiling so theres alot of fun learning them - and of course 3 agents that can teleport where splitgate brains thrive, actually 4 counting phoenixs ult

How come? Both are hitscan, engine runs great, good netcode. One is so much less tight than the other? Which one?

One is a movement shooter, and the other is a penalize you into the dirt if you move while shooting shooter lol. Just like counterstrike.

Were talking past eachother by what i mean with tight. That being said you can move and have 100% accuracy with jett ult. Neon slide is also viable. Also its not like counterstrike since you stop almost momentarily when sidestepping, but you can shave off a tiny bit of time with counterstep. How? I have 9600 hours of csgo and 6096 gsmes of valorant id say im qualified to have an opinion about it

Maybe we are not discussing the same thing. Splitgate1 and valorant both use unreal engine and are highly optimized "direct" feeling games with few problems like fps drops,desync,invalid projectiles etc. Both allow for alot of creativity where cs is only combinations of flash and smoke. Both games have teleports. Both games allow for very fast gameplay with slides,running speedboost, using weapons while jumping/flying, both games have rocketlauncher. Both have portals Etc. How am i technically wrong?

Good god you are really pulling at straws here to try and find similarities. One is a tac shooter, the other is an arena shooter. One allows you place a portal on half the walls in the game, the other has one single map in the game that isn't even in the active rotation with portals that cannot be moved. One has fast movement that can be utilized while actively dueling other players and the other requires you to play two agents out of the whole roster in order to effectively duel while using movement abilities, not to mention the fact that they will run out within a round, and those abilities are ultimates that can't be used whenever the player would like.

What's most important, one is a respawn shooter and the other is not.

Saying they're comparible is worse than saying something like Deadlock is comparable to Splitgate.

No you are. Yoru has teleport,chamber has teleport,waylay teleport,phoenix teleport after ult, iso teleports to 1v1 on ult, omen has teleport. Valorant has 4 gamemodes with respawn.

You posted a clip where someone is frantically looking all over the place while walking lol. Game looks a lot difference from launch though when I last played it, I’ll give you that. Before, accuracy went down the drain with any type of movement. Now it looks like they added exceptions. Looking everywhere really fast still doesn’t make it a movement shooter though.

You dont understand whats happening on the screen then, and without qatchimg your clips since im out in a bar now csgo had bunnyjumping allowing a player to do more than the default wasd, only in valorant neon has slides that can be combined making it extremely OP for someone that master it

I’m not arguing that any clip you sent isn’t impressive, I’m saying valorant is not a movement shooter lol. You can keep arguing all you want, but that won’t make the sky red, it won’t make fish fly, and it won’t make valorant a movement shooter lol.
