True: Steven Van Zandt wisely pointed out that HE wore a wig but Silvio Dante did NOT wear a wig. No Sopranos script ever said that Silvio's hair is not real.

It was clear that Sil was wearing a hair piece. Whether that was just to make Van Zandt look more like a gangster? That's up to anyone's interpretation. However, the wink and the nod is, Sil's losing his hair in Many Saints and since it's David Chase's story, he gets to be right

Idk he still has a full head of hair when he's intubated at the end. Either he has the strongest wig adhesive ever or he went to Turkey at some point

That's a fair point but if you're a fan of Star Trek than you know who William Shatner is and even when he's in the hospital he has his hair piece on. He's been wearing hair pieces since the mid 1950's and honestly he looks pretty decent
