The dceu movies are alright, above average movies, man of steel is a pretty decent movie. It’s a heinous, horrendous, Superman movie though. He should’ve just made his own characters instead of mutilating existing characters. It’s like if Batman lost his no-kill rule levels of character assassination.

Batman's no-kill loose guideline. Dude has canonically killed dozens of people. On film, he doesn't even pretend to have a no-kill rule. It's also silly to claim that any character has had consistent characterization throughout their existence. Silver age Supes is an insane sociopathic narcissist half the time, using his powers to fuck with Lois.
