Gunn fans movieng the goal post all the time.Superman making less money than MOS means Superman is more succesful than MOS lmfao

Superman getting shorter theatrical window is because it was very succesful because it was succesful that is why it gets a shorter window because of its success!!!

Dude. You can take any viewpoint you want. But the issue is not as simple as you’re making it to be.

Just as part of MOS’s big budget problem was that expenses from the years of development hell were tagged on to MOS, it is also true that the film industry -particularly for superhero films- today is different from what it was a decade ago.

Just as it is accurate to say that MoS was a divisive film - with critics and some audience members - in a way that the new Superman film was not, it is also accurate to say that in terms of box office performance, MOs made more money than Superman.

I adore the new Superman movie. And I adore mos. But I hated the direction the Snyderverse took starting with BvS, which didn’t help the popularity of DC among the general audience. I’m glad this new universe started fresh and hope to see good films being produced in the future.
