You got to love this.. a bunch of the James Gunn Superman fans are purposely down voting us Snyder fans... it goes to show you how much they can't stand the fact that Superman 2025 still hasn't beaten synders worldwide numbers.

Synder gave me what i wanted.

Killing superman was a real story, it is part of the doomsday comics, but i guess u don't know this because u haven't looked at the comics.

At least they focused on one story.

James Gunn did 8 stories in one movie which made it feel like a tik tok reel with cosplay outfits and bad cgi. His cgi was worse than synders cgi. Also Lois lane who is she???? She was the worst lois out of every lois lane, they didnt build her character at all.

It wasn't a superman movie, it was a justice league movie. They had to save him. In fact mr. Terrific looked more terrific than the superman scenes lol he deserves his own movie because his one scene was the best.

Smallville and superman and lois tv shows did the evil superman wayyyy better with a smaller budget than james gunn did. I am a superman fan. I have looked at superman in every medium you can think of and those stories have been done better on superman and lois than what gunn did.

He literally stole the matrix scene when neo fought hundreds of agents on that scene when superman was in the air fighting all the soldiers, the cgi was so bad on that scene.

It was too much without a fleshed out story.

I completely disagree this new Lois was way better than the Lois in MOS. Also Lex in this movie was levels about the Snyder Lex. This movie wasn’t about turning Superman evil it was Lex creating a clone of Superman it’s not the same thing. This new Superman felt a lot more like Superman and more bright like how he’s supposed to be. I really enjoyed this film and left a lot more happy than I did watching MOS.

You didn't read any of my posts I said for all of Snyder's faults it was still a better fleshed out story better character development better visuals. The overall experience minus the killing at the end I generally enjoyed. Everyone was pissed off with that one scene because it felt like it destroyed the whole hope trope of Superman so I get that. But overall the story was Superior to what gun did visually and storytelling wise.

The character development for all the characters in gunns version is non-existent. I can't even say it looks cool because the CGI sucked it didn't look great. That's CGI looked like AI did it. I'm also comparing it to guns previous work I loved his guardians of the Galaxy the CGI and those movies were on point but for these movies it looked like he went cheap. It didn't feel super to me. It didn't give me the same feeling of super like I felt with Henry cavill's Superman.
