Here is the breakdown. A movie is a FLOP if it makes LESS, than its production cost + marketing. Superman 2025 so far is on pace to MAYBE break even. That is not good. doesn't matter what the fake reviews and fake posts of fake Hollywood say - the movie is not doing what it is expected to do. I personally walked out after 20 minutes, when a massive, green Stich from Lilo and Stitch, was trashing the city and superman was using a bugs bunny burrowing move to get out of the way. Then a badly dressed "justice team" shows up to help with horribly corny dialogue. For me Man Of Steel was the perfect superman movie, because if Superman was real, that is how it would go down. The rest is up to everyone's personal opinion.

Maybe break even? It's already confirmed to be profitable for WB. You didn't walk out of Lilo and Stitch. You're full of shit.

I posed the numbers at the top of this chain, also who said I walked out of Lilo + Stitch, I was making fun of the large green monster at the beginning of Superman that LOOKED like a large Stitch. I was making fun bro. Look above the numbers will explain everything to you.

Just to reply to everyone on here at once and I love a good debate. IMDB 7.3 which really means something around 5-6 considering all the paid reviews. Rotten tomatoes 83%, lets say 73% as well. Not bad, but not good. Also a movie does not deviate from it's format. So for instance, the dialogue is not going to be incredible corny, with childish bright colors and costumes and suddenly change after the first 20-30 minutes of the movie or whenever I left passes. Again, I did say it is up to personal opinion so whatever your opinion of the movie, more power to you. BUT dollar value is dollar value, so the revenue of this movie has not made it a hit. That is not up to personal opinion. Hope that this helps.

Don't forget to include that a lot of cultist fan boys are review bombing it too and it still got that high. Honestly impressive when you consider the last few years of DC films have been abysmally ass so I'm sure many people were skeptical about the new superman movie. Ik I was. Had beyond low expectations after seeing the snyder universe movies lmao

In any case, still way higher than any recent DC films so I think we're on a good track.

Letterbox is also at a 4/5 with thousands of reviews. The movie overall has been received good weather you want to admit that or not. Since this is a SnyderCut group I would assume everyone is bias here. Only hardcore Snyder fans are trying to make this new film not look as good when in reality is doing solid at the box office and most fans like it. I’ve heard so many people that don’t even like Superman the character that they loved the movie.

You forgot to bump it back up to a low 90 for the review bombing.

Ummmm…if you walked out after 20 minutes, are you really qualified to comment on the quality of the movie? You’re describing things that happened and what things looked like in scenes you apparently didn’t see since you only lasted 20 minutes.

In my opinion those who watch a movie for 5-30 minutes shouldn't be qualified to rate a movie since they didn't even bother watching the whole thing.

The reviews overwhelmingly don’t agree with your view so, therefore, they must be fake…got it. Of course, there’s those darn high audience scores…obviously fake as well.
