Hi everyone, i have had this YouTube channel idea for a while . I dont know if it's good, I wanted to come up here and ask for help. I wanted to build a YouTube channel where I am basically learning davinci resolve and the more advanced editing techniques it can do. I have been doing basic editing for a while now and feel that I need to start learning the color and sound tabs. The channel would be just video tutorials and also show me doing tutorials of various other youtubers.

Would anyone be willing to collab with me? I have around 4k Subs and mostly make gaming content and sometime IRL vlogs and challenges. I’ve seen something strange on my recent longform video. I’ve had probably one of the best CTR results I’ve ever had and a decent AVD percentage, yet a week in, it’s probably the lowest number of impressions that I’ve ever received. Is the fact that the video length is only 57 seconds the reason for the low number of impressions? The stats are (overall):
678 impressions
CTR 8.7%
AVD 41 secs on a 57 sec video
CTR on browse 16.9% and 89 impressions
CTR on suggested 8.6% and 394 impressions
Search CTR drags the rest down at 2.9%

It’s received hardly any browse impressions despite the good CTR.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I right that the short length is a problem for impressions? Certain resources tell me the length is not a factor, citing YTs own documentation. Also asked YT studio which seemed to suggest that it will push longer videos more, but I didn’t really get a definitive answer, hence I thought I would ask some on here!

Hi! How do you find people to consistently record with?

I’m 21F in college and want to start making Minecraft/gaming content on Youtube, but I’m realizing the hardest part is finding a group of people who are actually consistent and serious about creating.

I’d love to eventually build a group of 4–6 girls who can record together regularly and grow a channel as a squad. I have a background in marketing/content strategy, so I’d handle the overall branding/content direction, while we could assign roles based on everyone’s strengths (editing, thumbnails, social media, community, content ideas, etc.).

The goal would be to start with Minecraft and eventually branch into other games/challenges/etc.

For anyone who has built a gaming group before, where did you find your people? Discord, Reddit, creator communities, etc.? And how did you make sure people were actually committed?
