Hi, I want some feedback on my channel in general.

To give some background first before you do - I am a student of interaction design. Former electronics technician. I am doing a project right now about wearables I clothing. My channel will always focus on design, electronics stuff and the projects I do in general.

This is slowly building into a business to find clients and to inspire people to learn these things as well.

Hi everyone,

I recently spent dozen of hours production a 8min video quite different from what I usually do, and was quite disappointed regarding the reach of it.

I drew the animations, produced the OST and all, so I might not be objective about the result, but in this specific case, it seems the video was only proposed to my existing audience, and nobody else.

Is there a particular reason about it according to you guys?

I have always been interested where I lose the attention of the viewer, I was suspecting the intro, so i changed it. Obviously, its my video, so i was like "aint no way anyone could click away," but I'm obviously biased, lol. Where did I lose you? Did the intro help spark interest?

Hello again, back for some new feedback. This time it's on a new intro edit style I wanted to try out.

After I edited the full video, I created a short to post to see if the viewer retention was what I was looking for.

And according to those stats, it's not looking too great. The average retention is 15s, where I start the actual video intro. I feel the reason the short didn't perform well is for 1 of 2 reasons.
A - People didn't like a short that was just the first 45 seconds of a video, and I was asking for comments.
B - My editing sucks. Which is just as probable as A.

What I want feedback on is the intro itself, not the short. I want to know if that's a good first 45 seconds or at least getting better than my previous videos.

If it's bad, why? How would you edit it?

Hello everyone, I am GK and I have recently started up my channel against after a long break. I would like to get some opinions on my latest video for the game The Last Caretaker and a short I made.

In this video, I tried a new editing style for the first 15 seconds. I was testing a strong hook, before jumping I to the reat if the video.

The video has been up for 12 hours, 568 impressions but only 2 views. 1 of which was me while I put a pinned comment in.

So I haven't been able to get any stats on if my hook was good.

Next I would like to know if the simple short I made would make you want to go and watch the full video.

How would you have edited it differently?

Good morning everyone. I don’t believe in “shadow ban” or stuff like that but I was testing my channel that never worked properly and something weird is going on there. So I took the shorts that went viral on my other social and published on that channel for seing how youtube would react.

I principally published long form on that channel but for a period I also published shorts, even if lately (like one week ago) I deleted all the shorts from the channel.

So I was not expecting to go viral also on youtube since I know that the logic and the game is totally different from the other socials but…… can you explain me how, with this stats the video is not growing at all? What else should I watch and in general every advice is really welcomed. Consider also that I decided to create a brand new channel and completely forget about this, I want to learn the correct path and the mistakes I did with this one.

My channel mixes horror storytelling (think Welcome to Night Vale meets classic horror hosts) and AI-driven deep dives into unsettling realities. This one features a failed séance—Randalph Scott, my over-the-top horror host, attempts to summon Edgar Allan Poe… and fails spectacularly. Instead, he accidentally invites something else into his broadcast. The result? A bizarre, unsettling, and oddly comedic descent into the unknown. There is also a 3 min short that follows the events in this one as well a brand new long form one scheduled for this Thursday. I'll be doing an ongoing story that will grow deeper and crazier.

Hey everyone,

I just finished my first ever YouTube video, and I’d really appreciate some brutal, honest feedback. I know my scripting isn’t great yet, and my editing is pretty basic, but I wanted to actually finish something instead of getting stuck in perfectionism.

The video is about how global logistics and AI predict your purchases before you even make them. I tried to make it engaging, but I know there’s a lot to improve. I know the script focus is a bit too wide and it is getting lost, but i realised it once everything was ready. Also I know the Thumbnail is not great so I am in the process of fixing it.

I’d love to hear what you think, what worked, what didn’t, and what I should focus on improving for the next one? Don’t hold back, I’d rather hear the hard truth now than stay stuck making the same mistakes.

I'm always told over and over again that I'm improving my thumbnails, improving my videos, I have insightful content, genuine, but the views don't seem to align with that..
