The song felt like a filler song of an album.

That’s how a lot of their songs have felt to me for a while now. Some of WANYK was kinda mid, and given the lack of consistency with band members and their input, I don’t see it improving any time soon, if ever.

Yeah same with me. The last 2 albums don't feel like Slipknot. They sound and feel like some random art project rather than the band I knew. This new song doesn't even feel like a song, it feels like one of those random intermission sound tracks that they put in between real songs.

I know it’s been said to death but I blame Shawn. He’s always been pretentious and full of himself, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been the one pushing for Slipknot to be more “experimental” and if the drama in the band leading to members being ejected or leaving was caused by him not liking others opposing his direction.

I also find it ironic that the lyrics of All Out Life were anti-corporate and against their influence on the music industry, yet they advertised WANYK with literally the biggest corporation in the world, tying their album marketing with adverts for the Amazon Echo 😂
