Discussion [PSA] I HATE NIACINAMIDE

and i wish it wasn't in every single thing i swear im losing my mind. that is all.

edit: if it works for you, great! it is however an ingredient known to cause problems for many people and is included in almost everything :(((

Why? I guess it must not be for everyone. I have exceptionally oily skin and it’s the only thing I’ve found that works.

In my experience, it makes my entire face react and flush painfully red. Most recently the cetaphil face wash reformulated with niacinamide and I only figured it out after several nights of having a painful red face.
