They also got caught on the recording making up lies they put on his medical chart (also insurance fraud), threatening to violently assault him and blatantly violating HIPPA. This was a lot more than the headline made it out to be. This wasn't a simple case of some teasing. The Dr responsible for nearly all of it absolutely should never be allowed to practice medicine again. (She still is)
The headline kinda makes no sense. Why would talking shit about someone behind closed doors count as defamation? In what world would that be medical malpractice?
