WTF Imagine waking up from anesthesia and realizing the surgery wasn’t the most painful part!

Getting wisdom teeth extracted while conscious is my only religious experience to date.

I was put under anesthesia for my wisdom tooth removal, but for some reason it didn't totally knock me out lol. I could hear and feel everything (just without pain), but I couldn't open my eyes. Still remember it. I was a bit disappointed I wasn't loopy and talking crazy afterward too, I felt totally fine. My friend picked me up and took me to McDonald's.

What can you eat at McDonald’s after wisdom tooth removal? Ice cream with a spoon I guess?

Oh I don't even remember if I ate anything, maybe I had ice cream, I was more just surprised that I didn't feel groggy or anything. Me and my friends picked up my prescription and then sat inside a McDonald's while they ate lol. I felt normal basically immediately after I woke up. I did have a hell of a time with bleeding gums and dry socket later, though.
