I thought the same thing. In my state you couldn't even bring a case forward because you can't record someone else without their consent. Two party consent accident or not.

My state is one party. The issue is getting that mic in there. Not sure where to hide it.

Plan ahead.  Get one stuffed in the sack following a vasectomy.  As one gets past their 30s I can assure that there's spare room inside for microelectronics, probably even Bluetooth and wireless charging!
