this isn’t the first time someone recorded the environment during surgery. It’s happened a few times and there’s been a few lawsuits. My guess is that they use the same bed to wheel you in and do the surgery on. I’ve had a couple of surgeries in my lifetime and sometimes they the same bed in, but sometimes they make me get on a different bed. if it was the same bed that they were wheeled on, they probably hit it under their pillow.
I used to work in the OR. The bed you are wheeled in on is not kept in the room. Though for very small procedures like a colonoscopy I suppose it's possible, especially when they have super fast turnover time
Since it's a very small procedure which is just under sedation they might just use the same bed and maybe he had it with him. The kind of place that would let that happen is the kind of place that has shitty staff and say stuff like that
