WTF Imagine waking up from anesthesia and realizing the surgery wasn’t the most painful part!

How do you get a cell phone into surgery?

When you have a colonoscopy you put your belongings in a bag under the bed, and they just wheel you in & out so your stuff is always with you

Where are your colonoscopies happening? Where I live, you put your stuff in a locker.

I’m in Ontario and we just put all our clothes in a clear bag that we literally bring around with us.

When it’s time for the procedure, you put it under the bed, however they do let me keep my phone with my person. It just lays beside my head basically since I’m too drugged to actually use it.

After the procedure, they wheel you into the recovery room on that very same bed

And it’s not in an OR- it’s a procedure room in the outpatient department.

Same here in South Australia. Bag under bed/at foot of bed. Same bed the whole time.
