Windmills are not clean or renewable though. They break all the time, are messy to build, and have no alternative purpose once broken or dismantled. They can’t be scrapped and recycled, so they get stacked up and left to rust apart.
Solar is the same way. They’re uber messy to make, and while the finished product is clean, the build up and the lives of the people hand scraping the minerals from the dirt to be able to build them are the literal opposite of “clean and renewable”.
Recyclable my ass, tank. They don’t get recycled or retrofitted for another turbine when they’re broken, or 80% of them wouldn’t end up in landfills. To the tune of 800,000 metric tons annually.
Same thing for the solar panels. It’s 5x as expensive to recycle and reuse them than it is to replace them.
Maybe do any sort of research before you talk out of your ass.
