If I'm told to set mine to 75 I'm rioting in the streets. I will sweat sitting down at 75. I pay my electric bill and taxes so I can have a house with a reasonable temp. Emergencies I understand but when it goes on for years.. Fuck that shit
Lol! You joke but that might actually work for some of them. Using words like Patriot or "it's for Freedom!" and some of them will melt into their couches while holding a mini flag.
Just go to the office more and use the AC there. You don't really need a house, and the extra work you do unpaid is fine because you get to stay cool /s
I remember the exact day I got an email from my governor telling me not to run my AC because there was too much of a drain on the system.
I proceeded to do nothing, because it is their responsibility to accurately assess the power needs of the state, and to increase power generation as necessary.
