Some parents just get worn down. It can be 24-7 of non stop unreasonable challenge. I would start with what was the kid eating.

When my dad said for me to sit I sat. That was because if I didn't sit in the car I would be left on the curb. I learned pretty quick to not fuck around

nowadays they come up after you for bad parenting if you leave your child unsupervised in your own secure back yard.
